This Privacy Policy describes how Zellig Health LLC and Zellig Psychiatry PC (collectively, “Zellig,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collect, use, and share information through www.zelligcare.com (the “Site”). By using the Site, you consent to the data practices described in this policy. This Privacy Policy does not govern Protected Health Information (“PHI”) received once you become a patient — that is covered by our Notice of Privacy Practices.
Zellig Psychiatry PC provides outpatient psychiatric care to patients located in Pennsylvania. Zellig Health LLC operates this Site, owns the Zellig brand and related intellectual property, and provides administrative and operational support to Zellig Psychiatry PC under appropriate agreements designed to protect your information.
This Site is intended for visitors located in Pennsylvania. We do not direct our services to, or knowingly market to, residents of other states or other countries. If you are accessing the Site from outside Pennsylvania, please be aware that we do not offer clinical services to non-Pennsylvania residents and that this Site is not designed to comply with the privacy laws of other jurisdictions.
Information you provide. When you submit a contact form, appointment request, or newsletter signup, we collect the information you choose to provide, which typically includes:
We do not request, and the Site is not designed to collect, clinical or health information. Please do not submit detailed health information through Site forms. Once you are an established patient, clinical information is collected through our secure patient portal and electronic health record system, not through this Site.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain technical information, including IP address (anonymized), browser type, device type, operating system, pages viewed, time spent on pages, referring website, and approximate geographic location based on IP address.
Cookies and similar technologies. We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain Site functionality, remember your preferences, and analyze Site traffic. Most browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies through browser settings; doing so may affect Site functionality.
We use the information we collect to:
Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site. We have enabled IP anonymization, which truncates visitor IP addresses before they are stored. We do not use Google Analytics to collect or transmit the contents of Site forms or any health-related information. You may opt out by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or by enabling “Do Not Track” in your browser.
Microsoft Clarity. We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors interact with the Site. Clarity captures session recordings, mouse movements, clicks, and scrolling behavior. Clarity masks text entered into form fields by default; however, you should not enter detailed health information into Site forms. Information collected by Clarity is processed by Microsoft in accordance with the Microsoft Privacy Statement. You may opt out via “Do Not Track” browser settings or privacy tools that block third-party tracking scripts.
We do not sell, rent, or lease your personal information. We do not currently share information collected through the Site with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:
Service providers. We may share information with vendors who help us operate the Site, host our infrastructure, or send communications on our behalf. These providers are contractually required to safeguard your information and use it only for the purposes we authorize.
Affiliated entities. Information collected through the Site may be shared between Zellig Health LLC and Zellig Psychiatry PC for operational and administrative purposes.
Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect the rights or safety of Zellig or others, or investigate fraud or security incidents.
Business transfers. If Zellig Health LLC or Zellig Psychiatry PC is involved in a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or similar transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.
In the future, we may use third-party advertising platforms (such as Google Ads or Meta Ads) to reach prospective patients. If we do, this policy will be updated to reflect those practices before they begin.
We may send you emails about practice updates, newsletters, or general information from time to time, but only if you have provided your email address and chosen to receive such communications. You may unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by contacting us at the email address below. Unsubscribing from marketing communications will not affect transactional communications related to scheduling, billing, or your care.
This Site is not directed at children under thirteen, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under thirteen through the Site. If you are under thirteen, please do not submit information through the Site; ask a parent or guardian to contact us on your behalf. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under thirteen, we will delete that information.
Note that Zellig Psychiatry PC provides clinical services to patients age twelve and older. Clinical intake for minor patients is handled through our patient portal with parent or legal guardian involvement, not through this Site.
The Site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any site you visit.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information submitted through the Site. However, no method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
