Jane is a board-certified psychiatric physician assistant who holds a Certificate of Added Qualifications (CAQ) in psychiatry. She earned her undergraduate degree in biology from Seton Hall University and completed her physician assistant training at Seton Hall as well. She went on to complete a postgraduate psychiatry residency through the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center and Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, where she trained across inpatient, outpatient, consult-liaison, and emergency psychiatry.
Jane has more than five years of experience providing psychiatric care within high-volume Veterans Affairs systems. Her clinical work spans mood, anxiety, attentional, and post-traumatic stress disorders, often in medically complex patients. She delivers care through both in-person and telepsychiatry visits.
Beyond direct patient care, Jane is active in teaching and advocacy. She has precepted and lectured physician assistant students in psychiatry, served as a women’s mental health subject-matter expert with a focus on reproductive psychiatry and trauma-informed care, and remains engaged in efforts to advance the role of psychiatric physician assistants. At Zellig, she provides thoughtful, evidence-based outpatient psychiatric care grounded in careful assessment and individualized treatment planning.
